John Beaverstock Obituary, Death, All Saints’ College Community Mourns Beloved Teacher

The All Saints’ College community is mourning the loss of a truly remarkable individual, Mr. John Beaverstock. A pillar of the College for more than three decades, John was much more than an educator; he was a mentor, a visionary, and a cherished friend whose influence resonated through every hallway and performance hall of the institution.

Having only recently retired, John’s departure from active service felt like the closing of a significant chapter in the College’s history. Throughout his long and distinguished tenure, he wore many hats, serving with passion as the Director of Music, a dedicated Performing Arts teacher, and the Heritage Coordinator. In each of these roles, he demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to excellence and a deep-seated belief in the potential of every student he encountered.

To his students, John was a guide who unlocked their creative spirits. Whether through the discipline of a musical score or the expressive freedom of the stage, he taught them that art is not just about skill, but about connection and courage. To his colleagues, he was a steady hand and a source of wisdom. As Heritage Coordinator, he ensured that the stories and traditions of the College were preserved, weaving the past into the fabric of the present.

However, it was John’s character that truly set him apart. He was widely known for his warmth, generosity, and profound kindness. He possessed a rare and special ability to bring people together, fostering a sense of belonging that transcended the classroom. In every interaction—be it a formal performance or a casual conversation—John made others feel seen, heard, and valued.

Though he has passed, John’s legacy is far from extinguished. It lives on in the melodies played by former students, the vibrant culture of the Performing Arts department, and the enduring strength of the community he helped build. He leaves behind a void that will be deeply felt, but also a wealth of memories that will continue to inspire.

We extend our most heartfelt condolences to John’s family, his friends, and the many lives he touched. He will be profoundly missed.
