It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Barry Geoghan, who died peacefully at the Royal Hospital on the 5th of September, 2026. Barry passed away surrounded by the warmth and comfort of his loving family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and cherished memories.
Barry was a deeply loved son of Charlene, and a devoted brother to Odhran. He will be profoundly missed by his aunts and uncles, Maria, Christopher, Stephen, and Tomas, as well as a much larger, extended family circle that held him in the highest regard. His presence brought light to those around him, and his loss will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
For those wishing to pay their final respects and honor Barry’s life, he will be reposing at his family home, 6 Stanhope Street, on Sunday afternoon.
The funeral arrangements will take place on Thursday, 10th September. Barry will leave his family home for a Requiem Mass at St. Patrick’s Church at 11:30 am. Following the service, cremation will take place at Roselawn Crematorium at 1:20 pm.
