However, the true heart of this community lies in the people who dedicate their lives to its growth, mentorship, and passion. Today, the Purrfect Paws Catwalk club mourns the loss of a true luminary in the feline world: Pam DelaBar.
A distinguished figure in the Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA), Pam served with distinction as the CFA President, CFA Region 9 Director, and a highly respected Allbreed Judge. To many, she was a pillar of authority; to us, she was a guiding light.
We first met Pam during our very first CFA show in Riga. From that moment, she left an indelible mark on our hearts. We will forever remember her not just for her incredible intelligence and remarkable knowledge of breeds, but for the profound kindness and warmth she extended to everyone she met. Every conversation with Pam was a masterclass; she possessed a rare generosity of spirit, always willing to share her wisdom to help others grow.
We were looking forward to the honor of welcoming her back to Riga, eager to create more cherished memories. While our upcoming shows will feel different without her presence, we remain eternally grateful that she was part of our beginning.
Our deepest condolences go out to her family, friends, and the many lives she touched. Pam DelaBar was a true legend, and her legacy will live on in every purr and every perfect stride on the catwalk.
